About the Job

Overview

The Language Specialist is an entry-level role responsible for executing various language-related tasks. The specialist communicates with project teams to address linguistic issues and collaborates with clients to refine terminology and style guides.

Responsibilities

• Translating, reviewing, proofreading, and fixing linguistic bugs
• Communicating with project teams regarding linguistic issues when necessary
• Managing and proposing new terminology for client approval
• Overseeing clients' style guides and reference materials
• Performing additional duties as required

Requirements

• University degree in Translation & Interpreting or equivalent, or relevant experience
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Native speaker of the target language
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in localization or enterprise software is highly valued
• Knowledge of CAT tools and terminology management software
• Willing to work overtime if needed
• Ability to work remotely, in an office, or via a hybrid setup
• Highly organized and able to perform under pressure
• Team player and quick learner
