We seek enthusiastic Richmond-based instructors to help expand our classroom offerings—please note, this is an in-person position with no remote work option.

🔹 What We're Looking For

• Availability: Must have Saturday and evening hours (4-8 pm)
• Experience with Children: Skilled at engaging children aged 3-12 using songs, storytelling, and creative activities
• Group Leadership: Comfortable leading small group classes with children and their parents
• Range of skills: View our website and Instagram to familiarize yourself with our teaching style and community vibe

🔹 Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French language lessons tailored to student needs
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Develop effective lesson plans and materials using instructional design principles
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching strategies for various learning styles and abilities
• Incorporate technology and digital resources to enrich lessons
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices

• Experience teaching French to diverse age groups and proficiency levels
• Knowledge of instructional strategies suitable for general and special education settings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
• Flexibility to work in summer, afternoons, and weekends
