About the Position

Carney, Sandoe & Associates, a leading education recruitment firm, is seeking a dedicated French Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at a distinguished school in the vibrant Miami area.

Responsibilities

• Be a dynamic educator with vision and patience 🧑‍🏫
• Support and promote the school's core values, mission, and philosophy ❤️
• Design engaging lesson plans tailored to middle school students ✏️
• Evaluate each pupil’s progress in French 📈
• Align coursework vertically for a meaningful learning scope 🔗
• Implement authentic assessment methods, innovative pedagogies, discussion-based learning, and project-based learning 🧠
• Attend department, faculty, and other school meetings 📝
• Foster an inclusive environment within the school community 🌍

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in French or a related field 🎓
• 1-3 years of teaching experience 🏫
• Substantial expertise in French education; student-centered, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of adolescents’ social and emotional development 🌟
• Eager to collaborate on curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessments 🤝
• Interest in contributing beyond the classroom, such as coaching, advising, or leading clubs ⚽🎭
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 🗣️✍️
• U.S. Work Authorization is required ✅
