Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree and valid Oklahoma certification in subject area taught; meets Oklahoma State Department of Education and federal standards for a qualified teacher.
- Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written information; skilled in writing reports and correspondence; effective oral presentation skills; proficient in applying mathematical concepts to practical situations; problem-solving ability; interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

- Teaches district-approved curriculum utilizing a variety of instructional techniques that promote continuous improvement and increase student achievement. 📝
- Uses minimal class time for non-instructional routines to maximize engagement.
- Guides the learning process by establishing clear short-term and long-term objectives for lessons and communicating these to students.
- Participates actively in collaborative planning, data analysis, and instruction with peers and district initiatives. 🤝
- Ensures students demonstrate mastery of district objectives through projects, assignments, and assessments.
- Engages in district-approved professional development to develop competencies aligned with district and state requirements.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and compliant records as required by law, district policies, and regulations.
- Performs safety precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. 🛡️
- Creates a positive, safe, and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Develops and maintains lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to district curriculum, including differentiated instruction. 📚
- Communicates regularly with parents both inside and outside of normal contract hours.
- Accepts and performs teaching duties, including co-curricular and extracurricular activities, as assigned by the superintendent and principal.
- Attends all required meetings and adheres to the teacher contract schedule.

Physical Standards
While performing the duties, the employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, talk, and hear. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with focus adjustment. The ability to respond quickly, including running, intervening, and assisting students, is necessary for ensuring safety and effective classroom management. 🚸
