Primary Purpose 🎯

Provide students with engaging learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area to help them reach their full potential—intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially. Equip students with essential competencies and skills for successful societal integration.

Qualifications ✅

Education / Certification 🎓

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or necessary training for the assigned subject and level
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area
• ESL Certification

Special Knowledge / Skills 🧠

• Thorough knowledge of the assigned core academic subject
• General understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies
• Ability to effectively instruct students and manage classroom behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience 💼

• Minimum of one year of student teaching or approved internship experience

Salary 💰

Compensation based on the Teacher Pay Scale for a 10-month contract period.
