About the Role
We seek a reliable, service-oriented individual to join our team as a Desktop Support Technician. This role involves providing IT assistance while managing front-desk coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and working collaboratively. 🤝
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a welcoming experience for users and visitors, supporting their daily technical needs. Candidates with hands-on experience, training, or a strong interest in developing their IT skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & IT Tasks
- Assist users with hardware, software, and basic networking issues
- Guide users through installations and troubleshooting with clear, step-by-step instructions
- Provide support both in person and remotely
- Track and manage support requests using a ticketing system
- Document issues and solutions for future reference
- Escalate complex issues when necessary and follow up for resolution
- Help configure desktop applications and user environments
Front Desk & Administrative Support
- Welcome visitors professionally and courteously
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Handle inquiries and provide accurate information
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
- Support administrative duties (data entry, filing, scanning, etc.)
- Coordinate with internal teams for seamless office operations
- Follow security and safety protocols for visitors and staff
Qualifications & Skills
- Some experience in IT support, customer service, or administrative roles
- Patience and clarity when assisting users with technical issues
- Basic understanding of:
- Microsoft Office (O365)
- Windows environment
- Ticketing tools (or willingness to learn)
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, or Exchange Online is a plus (not required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive, helpful, and detail-oriented attitude
Nice to Have (Optional)
- Previous experience in a hybrid IT support/front desk role
- Familiarity with device setup and user onboarding
