About the Role
The Executive Travel Consultant at Amex GBT is dedicated to delivering an exceptional travel experience for our corporate clients. Working within a specialized, high-performing team remotely, you will provide personalized support, innovative travel solutions, and top-tier customer service. Your responsibilities include managing client relationships, offering creative travel options, and utilizing the latest tools and technology to meet client needs.
What You'll Do on a Typical Day 🗓️
- Manage all travel bookings: Coordinate domestic and international reservations for flights, hotels, trains, and ground transportation using Sabre.
- Provide expert advice: Offer solutions and recommendations tailored to VIP clients, ensuring compliance with travel policies and requirements.
- Operate across multiple channels: Maintain high performance on KPIs such as customer satisfaction, productivity, and strategic partnerships.
- Communicate effectively: Use professional telephone and email techniques to respond to client requests and foster excellent relationships.
- Upsell proactively: Promote additional services like hotel stays or car rentals to enhance traveler experiences.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and professionalism: Embody the company's values, ethics, and compliance standards.
- Follow company policies: Adhere to all Amex GBT policies and procedures at all times.
Profile We're Looking For 🔍
- Fluent in both Canadian French and English.
- Deep knowledge of booking practices and policies for flights, hotels, cars, and trains, both domestically and internationally.
- Experience providing high-end executive customer service.
- Minimum of 5 years as a corporate travel advisor.
- Proficiency with Sabre (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent understanding of fares and ticketing rules for various travel modes.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential traveler information with integrity.
- Strong basic computer skills and multitasking ability across multiple applications.
Work Schedule & Location 🕒📍
This role requires availability to work Monday through Friday, between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific Time, with schedule flexibility based on client hours. The position is based remotely within the United States.
Compensation & Benefits 💰🎁
The US national base salary range for this position is $46,900 – $87,100. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and work location.
