About the Role 🤝

We are seeking a Remote Bilingual French Customer Service Agent to assist customers with auto lease and loan insurance questions. In this role, you'll make outbound informational calls to clients with insurance coverage discrepancies, such as canceled policies, missing payments, or incomplete documentation.

Note: This position is purely informational—no sales or collections involved. All calls focus on resolving issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities 📝

  • Handle approximately 14 outbound calls per hour; 100% phone-based
  • Contact customers to resolve insurance-related issues
  • Verify insurance details directly with insurance agents (coverage limits, deductibles, etc.)
  • Upload and document information accurately within internal systems
  • Leave client-approved scripted voicemails when agents are unavailable
  • Ensure all insurance requirements are met in a timely, professional manner

Training Program 🎓

  • Duration: First 3 weeks
  • Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Includes classroom instruction, job shadowing, and monitored calls
  • Performance assessment at the end of week three; 80% passing score required
  • One additional week allowed for reassessment; failure results in termination

Required Qualifications ✔️

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to type 30 WPM
  • Over 1 year of customer service experience (retail, call center, office, data entry, restaurant roles)
  • Comfortable with being on the phone all day
  • Ability to meet performance expectations (call volume, quality, accuracy)
  • Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset

Preferred Skills ⭐

  • Customer service or call center experience
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to follow scripts and detailed processes
  • Effective time management and attention to detail

Job Details & Benefits 🚀

Type & Location: Contract to Hire, fully remote from New York City, NY

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour
