Remote Interpreter Position 💻🌐

Join our team as a Remote Interpreter, providing essential language services to bridge communication between patients and healthcare professionals. This role offers the flexibility of working from anywhere while making a meaningful impact in healthcare.

Responsibilities 📝

• Accurately interpret messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers or support staff on-site.
• Maintain compliance with the National Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Healthcare.
• Uphold patient confidentiality at all times to ensure privacy and trust.

Qualifications & Skills 🌟

• Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably with OPI/VRI interpretations.
• National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS (if available in your language).
• Proficiency in Medical, Educational, and Social Services terminology in both source and target languages.
• At least 40 hours of interpreter training.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills along with basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in English and the target language with the ability to provide fluency test results.
• Reliable technology setup: a working computer with specific requirements, a headset, and a high-speed internet connection.
• Dedicated and quiet call environment that maintains confidentiality and minimizes background noise.
