Remote Interpreter Position 🌐

Join our team as a remote interpreter, bridging communication gaps between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers from the comfort of your home.

Key Duties 📝

• Accurately interpret messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers or support staff on-site.
• Adhere to professional standards by following the National Standards of Practice and the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Healthcare.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times while performing interpreting responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills ✅

• Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably with OPI/VRI modalities.
• National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, or VQAS (if applicable in your language).
• Strong command of Medical, Educational, and Social Services terminology in both source and target languages.
• Completion of 40+ hours of interpreter training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, time management, and basic computer skills.
• Fluency in English and the target language with fluency test results available upon request.
• Access to a working computer meeting specified requirements, a working headset, and high-speed internet connection.
• A confidential, clean, and quiet environment suitable for calls.
