Remote Interpreter Position 🌐

Join our team as a remote interpreter, facilitating clear communication between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers.

🌟 Duties:

• Interpret messages accurately between patients and healthcare or support personnel on-site, ensuring clarity and precision.
• Adhere to the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Health Care and the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, respecting privacy and ethical guidelines.

📝 Qualifications Needed:

• Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably with OPI/VRI.
• Holding a National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS (if available in your language).
• Strong command of medical, educational, and social services terminology in both source and target languages.
• Completing 40+ hours of interpreter training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service abilities, time management, and basic computer knowledge.
• Demonstrate fluency in English and the target language, with the ability to provide fluency test results.
• Possess a working computer meeting specified requirements, a working headset, and a dedicated high-speed internet connection.
• Maintain a confidential, clean, and quiet environment for calls.
