Remote Interpreter Position 💻

A rewarding opportunity to provide vital language services to healthcare providers and patients from the comfort of your home.

📝 Duties:

• Accurately interpret messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers or support staff on-site.
• Adhere to the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Health Care and the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

🎯 Qualifications Needed:

• Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably with OPI/VRI.
• Evidence of National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS (if available in your language).
• Proficient command of Medical, Educational, and Social Services terminology in both source and target languages.
• At least 40 hours of interpreter training.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, effective time management, and basic computer skills.
• Fluency in English and the target language; ability to provide fluency test results.
• A working computer meeting specific requirements, a working headset, and high-speed internet connection.
