Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Principal, the Foreign Language Teacher will oversee daily biblical academic instruction and discipleship. This role involves influencing positive, God-honoring student behavior, planning effective instructional programs based on curriculum guidelines, and accurately assessing student performance. As a servant of Christ, the teacher will serve as a spiritual role model, ensuring a safe, loving learning environment that nurtures spiritual, social, and intellectual development. The individual must exemplify patience, grace, humility, and integrity, seeking to perform all duties as unto the Lord and relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance. ✝️✨

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university 📚

Experience

• At least two years of classroom teaching experience and/or Biblically-centered academic preparation (preferred) ✨
• Experience in developing and implementing curriculum

Certifications/Licenses

• Valid teaching credential/certificate/license for the appropriate grade level (preferred, not required) 🎓

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent written and oral communication skills 🗣️✍️
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with leadership, peers, students, parents, volunteers, and the community 🤝
• Demonstrated subject knowledge, curriculum understanding, and effective teaching methods
• Proficiency with educational technology and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 💻
