Bento & Noodles Restaurant Is Hiring A Food Prep Cook

Join our bustling Japanese kitchen in Chula Vista! We are seeking a reliable full-time food prep cook to become a vital part of our team, where attention to detail and cleanliness are essential for every dish we prepare. 🍣👨‍🍳

What You'll Do

• Butterfly chicken legs and other proteins for marinating and cooking
• Wrap wontons and dumplings by hand, ensuring consistent size and shape
• Wash, cut, and portion vegetables and ingredients
• Keep prep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Follow recipes and portion specifications accurately
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of prep cook or kitchen experience
• Strong basic knife skills (comfortable with a chef's knife)
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Valid CA Food Handler card (or willing to obtain one within the first week)
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

What We Offer

• $19–$20/hr based on experience
• Steady full-time hours, 5–6 days per week
