Qualifications & Requirements ✅

  • Minimum age of 21 at the time of application
  • High school diploma or GED; college experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, aviation, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to effectively handle high-stress emergencies
  • Professional grooming and appearance standards, including tattoo policies
  • Proficiency in operating electronic devices
  • Valid passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining
  • Ability to travel unrestricted across all countries United serves
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screening

Training & Onboarding Details 🎓

  • Complete a water evacuation drill as part of training
  • Participate in comprehensive background, fingerprinting, and medical checks
  • Pass all DOT/FAA drug screens — marijuana use is prohibited
  • Pass a 10-year criminal background check, with restrictions regarding certain offenses like DWI/DUI

Compensation & Employment Information 💼

The starting rate for this role is $28.88 per hour, and the position is eligible for profit sharing and other incentives. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, accident & disability insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, and flight privileges, all under our collective bargaining agreement.
