Farsi Operational Language Analyst (OLA) with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• 🔍 Perform SIGINT language analysis on voice and graphic materials, exploiting foreign language communications to identify, extract, and report operational intelligence.
• 📝 Translate, transcribe, and gist complex written and spoken materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• 🔑 Recover and document essential elements of information (EEIs) and other reportable intelligence to support cryptologic and intelligence initiatives.
• ✅ Conduct quality control reviews of translations and transcripts, validating linguistic accuracy, context, and relevance.
• 🌐 Provide cultural, regional, and contextual analysis to enhance understanding and aid operational decisions.
• 📊 Produce clear intelligence reports, summaries, and briefings for analysts, operators, and leadership teams.
• 🤝 Collaborate with SIGINT analysts, operators, and multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing missions and planning.

Requirements

• 🔐 Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• ⌨️ One (1) year experience typing on an English keyboard.

Level 1 Qualifications

• 🕑 Two (2) years of full-time cryptologic language processing experience in the required language.
• 📝 At least one (1) year of translating, transcribing, and gisting as primary duties.
• 🎓 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from another country.
• 📈 Language proficiency test scores of minimum Level 2 (Listening & Reading) on exams such as the DLPT.

Level 2 Qualifications

• 🕓 Four (4) years of full-time cryptologic operations experience performing language processing in the required language(s).
• 🗓️ Two (2) of those years within the past four (4) years.
• 🎓 Associates degree or equivalent.
• 🔄 Alternatively, two (2) years of related practical experience can substitute for a total of six (6) years of experience.
• 📊 Language proficiency minimum Level 3 (in at least one modality) on exams like the DLPT.

Level 3 Qualifications

• 🕙 Ten (10) years of full-time cryptologic language processing and related experience.
• 🗓️ At least one (1) year within the past six (6) years.
• 🎓 Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or equivalent.
• 🔄 Alternatively, four (4) additional years of related experience can substitute for a total of fourteen (14) years.
• 📈 Minimum Level 3 (Listening & Reading) scores on language proficiency exams such as the DLPT.

Level 4 Qualifications

• 🕒 Fifteen (15) years of full-time cryptologic language and related experience.
• 🗓️ At least one (1) year within the past six (6) years.
• 🎓 Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or equivalent.
• 🔄 Alternatively, four (4) additional years of related practical experience can substitute for a total of nineteen (19) years.
• 📊 Maximum proficiency scores of Level 3 (Listening & Reading) on language exams such as DLPT.

Pay & Benefits
