Join our team as a Farsi, Dari Video Remote Interpreter (VRI) and provide essential language support from the comfort of your home in Iran. This role involves assisting diverse communities through on-demand audio and video interpretation services.

Position Overview

The Farsi, Dari Medical VRI is responsible for managing real-time audio and video calls to serve our limited English proficient (LEP) community and practitioners across various industries such as Healthcare, Government, Community, and Education.

Job Functions

• 🔊 Provide effective video and audio interpreting sessions in a professional manner.
• 💾 Capture company-provided data during interpreting sessions when required.
• ⚡ Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new and evolving technologies.

Qualifications

• 🗣️ Fluent in both source and target languages (Farsi, Dari to English and vice versa) with strong verbal communication skills.
• 📝 Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to ensure high accuracy during interpretation.
• 🎓 Successful completion of a proficiency assessment or possession of a national certification.
• 📜 Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice (IMIA, NBCMI, NCIHC).
• 🔒 HIPAA-compliant work environment and setting.
• 🧓 Must be at least 18 years old.
