📍 Location & Compensation

• Location: Norcross, GA (Onsite)
• Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year 💰
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Option to take a 30-minute lunch and work until 5:00 PM
• Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt

🚀 About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to oversee daily export operations. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in international logistics who can lead a team, optimize processes, ensure compliance, and provide exceptional service to global clients.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Customer Service

• Supervise and support Export Coordinators for smooth daily workflow
• Manage onboarding and auditing of new international accounts
• Handle complex customer issues and deliver effective solutions

Order & Documentation Management

• Oversee export order processing and shipment releases
• Ensure accuracy of Bills of Lading and export declarations

Shipping & Logistics Coordination

• Schedule outbound shipments efficiently and timely
• Identify cost-effective global shipping routes and resolve dispatch issues

Carrier & Rate Management

• Negotiate and evaluate carrier rates for international shipments 💼
• Prepare rate proposals for prospective and existing clients
• Monitor carrier performance and compliance with regulations

Claims & Compliance

• Manage tracers for lost shipments and file claims for damages or overcharges
• Ensure adherence to export regulations and standards

Staff Development

• Lead hiring, training, and development of team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and foster employee growth

Reporting & Analysis

• Analyze export operations and customer data
• Prepare and distribute reports to internal stakeholders

🎓 Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in export freight forwarding or international logistics (preferred)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing teams and driving performance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, G-Suite, and logistics systems
• Excellent communication skills for working with global partners 🌐

📝 Preferred Certifications

• Dangerous Goods Training (DOT/IATA/IMDG)
• TSA Training Certification
