SOS International LLC (SOSi) seeks an Exploitation Specialist – Thai to support a U.S. Government client by providing media monitoring, translation, and current event awareness. As a subject matter expert, you will utilize your linguistic and cultural expertise in Thai to curate and translate global media into English-language products.

🎯 Essential Job Duties

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s interests and mission requirements, including priority topics. Adapt research focus based on emerging events or topics.
• Evaluate potential foreign language media sources—including news outlets and social media—conduct topical research, synthesize findings, and produce sourced English reports.
• Follow client style and translation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Efficiently utilize client-specific workflows and tools.
• Meet tight deadlines, including same-day delivery when required.

🎓 Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Thai language, demonstrated via testing (minimum score: 3/3+ on ILR scale; some roles may require 4/4+)
• Subject matter expertise or education in international topics such as climate change, global health, politics, culture, energy, cyber threats, emerging tech, military, terrorism, or regional media
• Experience with open source research, media collection, and dissemination support
• Experience with social media analysis and exploitation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time and task management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of relevant experience
• Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
