Japanese Bi-Lingual Experienced Tax Staff
Join our team as a Japanese bilingual tax professional, supporting international clients with a variety of tax and accounting services. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities.
📝 Responsibilities
- Assist partners and managers with small and large international client accounts
- Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trial balances, and create simple financial statements using software
- Perform schedule computations for accruals, property, equipment, and depreciation expenses
- Work within budgetary parameters; help staff prioritize and manage workloads effectively
- Prepare income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals, including federal and multi-state returns
- Create financial statements by analyzing transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and adjusting journal entries
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with applicable laws
🎯 Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in tax consulting or compliance within public accounting, with a focus on International Tax
- Experience working with forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and 1118
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of work experience in public accounting or a related occupation
- Experience preparing individual and corporate tax returns for LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps
- Fluent in both Japanese and English
💼 Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $36.05 – $45.67
This is a nonexempt position, with overtime paid at time and a half of the hourly rate.
