Executive Chef Salary and Compensation 💰
- Base Salary: $85,000 to $95,000
- Performance Bonus: Structured monthly bonuses based on performance
- Benefits: 100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage
- PTO: Available after 6 months of employment
- Life Insurance: Company-paid
Requirements and Qualifications 🎯
- Minimum of 4 years leadership experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine
- Background in Italian restaurants with strong knowledge of sauces and foundational techniques
- Experience in high-volume environments with sales exceeding $4M
- Proven loyalty: work history of at least two years in each previous role; no more than three jobs in five years
- Expertise in ordering, inventory management, scheduling, COGS, and labor controls
Preferred Background and Skills 🌟
- Authentic Italian or Italian-American culinary experience
- Extensive high-volume, scratch-kitchen background
- Strong tenure in previous roles (two years or more)
- Ability to stabilize, develop, and strengthen back-of-house teams
- Strong business acumen with a focus on cost management and consistent execution
- Leadership style that balances standards, accountability, coaching, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable working with involved ownership that values structure and performance
