🚀 About the Role

As a Mid-Level ERP Business Analyst, your expertise will be pivotal in refining our custom ERP system, working closely with diverse departments to align business needs with technical solutions. Your efforts will directly influence operational improvements and strategic success in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

🔧 What You'll Do

  • Requirements Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ERP features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze current processes such as Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Logistics, and Manufacturing, designing streamlined "to-be" workflows leveraging ERP capabilities.
  • Solution Design & Documentation: Translate business needs into clear specifications, use cases, process flows, and user stories related to ERP functionalities.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as the bridge between business users, vendors, ERP configurators, and the IT team in Japan, ensuring accurate translation and effective implementation of requirements.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop test plans and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee high-quality system changes aligned with business goals.
  • User Empowerment: Create training materials and conduct sessions to enhance end-user adoption and best practices within the ERP system.
  • Data Insight: Support data analysis efforts to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for system or process improvements.
  • Project Collaboration: Engage actively in ERP projects, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment for successful outcomes.

🎯 What You'll Bring

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on ERP systems (custom or commercial).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of OTC, P2P, Logistics, and Manufacturing workflows.
  • Technical Foundation: Familiarity with ERP system architecture, modules, and functionalities.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in Japanese and English with the ability to convey technical and business concepts clearly.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Collaboration & Initiative: Ability to work independently and within a team, with a proactive approach to learning and growth.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries.
