Position Summary

We are looking for a bilingual (English/Korean) Credit & Insurance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will manage insurance policies, assist with claims, and perform critical credit risk evaluations across North and Latin America. Your responsibilities will include conducting financial analyses, reviewing industry risks, and preparing macroeconomic reports. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, possesses solid finance and accounting knowledge, and is proficient in Excel. Experience in credit analysis or risk management (0–3 years) is preferred.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

🔹 Insurance Portfolio Management

  • Manage insurance portfolios including Trade Credit, Marine Cargo, Property, and Casualty insurance
  • Review insurance policy documents and advise on risk management solutions, collaborating with legal and business teams
  • Prepare and manage insurance claim processes, working closely with insurers to achieve settlements

🔹 Credit Analysis

  • Research and report on macroeconomic conditions of major countries in North and Latin America
  • Conduct due diligence on potential and existing customers by analyzing credit information, financial statements, and payment histories
  • Create performance models of debtor accounts
  • Assess industry risks by reviewing business models and market data

Qualifications & Skills

  • 0–3 years of experience in financial credit analysis or risk management (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals
  • Excellent analytical, data gathering, and attention-to-detail skills
  • High proficiency in Excel formulas and functions
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong business acumen
  • Language Requirements: Bilingual in English and Korean

Compensation & Benefits 💼

  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
  • 401(k): Company match up to 4%
