🔍 Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry Level Japanese / English Bilingual Technical Translator-Interpreter to facilitate communication between our team and international clients. The role involves translation, administrative support, and multicultural engagement within our office and factory settings.

📝 Responsibilities

• Translate documents and emails between Japanese and English.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments for associates and managers.
• Assist with executive meetings involving upper management and clients.
• Enable multicultural communication in office and factory environments, including client site visits when needed.
• Handle administrative tasks, respond to customer inquiries, and understand their needs.
• Input data into the database and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Business-level Japanese language skills (JLPT N2 or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel for business purposes, such as trade shows and meetings (up to 10%).
• Associate’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Linguistics, Social Studies, or similar, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Strong experience in Japanese and English interpretation and translation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as needed.
• This position operates in an office environment. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds (more with lift assist), climbing stairs, using hands for handling parts, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, talking, hearing, and vision activities such as close, distance, color, depth, and peripheral vision.
