Job Description

As an Over-the-Phone Interpreter, your primary responsibilities include:

• Providing Vietnamese interpreting services over the phone 📞
• Assisting individuals in bridging communication gaps 🌐
• Ensuring accurate and professional interpretation during calls 🗣️
• Maintaining a reliable, unbiased, and empathetic experience for clients ✨

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Vietnamese 🗣️🇻🇳🇺🇸
• A dedication to delivering courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation services 🤝
• Strong communication and organizational skills 📋
• Prior experience as an Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) is a plus, but not a dealbreaker! 💪

Assessment Criteria

• English Proficiency Test: Achieve a “technical proficiency” rating (level 3 or higher on the ILR scale) ✅
• Mock Interpretation Session: Successfully pass a live evaluation 🎤
• Medical Terminology Assessment: Pass an online test covering medical terms, anatomy, and physiology 🩺
