Job Details

• Position: Language Interpreter (Mandarin & English)
• Type: Full-time, Night Shift (US Pacific Time Zone)
• Schedule: 5 days a week, shift starts anytime from 8 pm to 12 am MYT, rotating every 3 months
• Location: Work From Home (WFH)

Key Responsibilities

As an interpreter, your primary role is to facilitate seamless communication between parties speaking different languages. For example, during a live emergency call from 911, you will:

• Accurately interpret conversations between callers (e.g., Tamil speakers) and emergency operators (English)
• Convey messages clearly in the caller’s preferred language
• Ensure both parties understand each other effectively

Compensation & Benefits 💰

• Basic Salary: RM4,800 - RM5,200 per month
• Additional Benefits: SOCSO, EPF, overtime pay
• Paid Leave: 14 days sick leave, 12 days annual leave
• Public Holidays: Malaysia & US holidays included

Training Program Details 🎓

The training lasts for 3 weeks, structured as follows:

• Duration: 3 weeks, 8 hours daily (including a 1-hour break), from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM Malaysia time
• Training Allowance: RM 2650 + RM 400 (security deposit for gadgets)
• Live Sessions: 9 sessions, each split into 2 parts, totaling 18 hours
• Total Training Hours: 105 hours, including assessments, tutorials, and module study
• Nesting Days: Days 13-15 dedicated for live phone calls

Note: The training allowance is payable only upon full completion of the 3-week training program.
