Job Responsibilities 📝

• Perform physical examinations and gather medical history to assess donor suitability
• Build rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction
• Ensure donor and staff confidentiality
• Educate donors on health and counseling on test results
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
• Assess illness or medication history for continued donor suitability
• Assist in employee training
• Administer employee Hepatitis vaccine program

Job Requirements ✅

• Current certification/license as per state requirements (EMTB, EMTA, LPN, RN, Paramedic, or Vocation Nurse)
• Current CPR certification
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Desired Attributes & Skills 🔧

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and light lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Good hearing, color perception, and vision acuity (correctable to specified standards)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or guided
• Comfort in a biological fluids exposure environment with PPE

Work Environment & Conditions 🧪❄️

• Perform in a plasma center setting
• Exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious organisms
• Exposure to electrical equipment and extreme cold (below 32°F) in plasma freezers
• Use of protective gear: eyewear, garments, gloves, cold-gear

Compensation & Benefits 💰

Pay Scales:

• EMTB: $22.00 - $27.00/hr
• AEMT: $24.00 - $28.00/hr
• Paramedic: $25.00 - $29.00/hr
• LPN: $30.00 - $35.85/hr
• RN: $38.00 - $45.00/hr

Additionally, eligible for up to 4% company bonus pool participation.
