Anticipated Start Date: August 28, 2026

Salary for 2026-2027: $71,730

This position includes full health benefits. If you choose to waive health coverage, you will receive an annual waive-out payment of approximately $5,000 - $13,000, depending on the plan and coverage options.

📋 Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate a comprehensive elementary education program within a safe, inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.
• Support students in developing foundational skills across literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and social-emotional growth through engaging, standards-aligned instruction.
• Implement differentiated learning experiences tailored to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with parents, colleagues, and the school community to promote a supportive, student-centered environment.

🌍 Bilingual Teaching Focus (Preferred)

• Provide effective bilingual instruction that supports academic achievement in both languages and promotes language acquisition and literacy development.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and employ engaging, developmentally appropriate strategies.
• Create a language-rich classroom environment that enhances communication, vocabulary, and comprehension in both languages.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including English Language Learners, ensuring a safe and nurturing space for all.
• Use assessments to monitor progress, collaborate with colleagues and families, and foster cultural awareness and respect within the school community.

🎓 Certification Requirements

• Elementary Education (1001): Required
• Bilingual Education (1480): Preferred
