Position Overview

We are offering a competitive salary based on experience and education, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a 403(b) retirement plan with a 5% match, tuition reimbursement, school-paid lunch, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom environment that promotes whole-child development while integrating both Limudei Hol (secular studies) and Limudei Kodesh (Jewish studies) in line with our high standards.
  • Design and maintain a classroom that encourages active, hands-on learning, group management, self-expression, choice, and inclusion of all children, parents, volunteers, and staff.
  • Implement project-based learning through engaging topics that integrate meaningful covering across content areas and support development across multiple domains.
  • Incorporate Judaic studies seamlessly throughout the day, reinforcing core Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion, and integrity.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and school counselors regarding student progress.
  • Assess student growth in knowledge and skills continually.
  • Participate in school activities including PTA meetings, student clubs, and community events.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in the Hebrew language is a must! 🇮🇱
  • Bachelor’s degree required; candidates with an intention to pursue a Master’s are encouraged to apply.
  • Certification and/or license in Early Childhood Education is mandatory.
  • Preference given to candidates with teaching experience in early childhood settings.
  • Knowledge of Jewish holidays and customs.
  • Experience with emergent, play-based, and constructivist curricula is a plus.
