Job Description

• Flexibility: Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Guest Experience: Ensure the Franchise and Shaner Brand Standards are maintained, providing exceptional experiences for guests.
• Policy Compliance: Adhere to facility, Franchise, and Shaner policies.
• Service Delivery: Perform massage and body services that meet established guidelines and fulfill guest expectations.
• Service Scope: Perform all treatments listed on the services menu based on current licensure.
• Guest Assessment: Assess contraindications that might prevent service delivery.
• Guest Needs: Consistently meet guest needs throughout the service.
• Safety: Use universal precautions when providing services.
• Sanitation: Clean and disinfect all equipment after use.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all spa services and ingredients, confidently explaining their benefits to guests.
• Product Recommendations: Suggest products for home use and other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
• Work Environment: Keep work areas clean and set according to procedures.
• Communication: Inform Lead Therapist and Spa Management about product needs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain client cards and treatment notes, when appropriate.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Dual Licensed Massage Therapist/Esthetician is responsible for delivering massages and body treatments, creating a relaxing environment that leaves guests with memorable experiences. 💆‍♀️🌊

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing: Valid state license in massage therapy or other required credentials.
• Experience: At least one year of customer service experience; previous spa experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with professional spa services and treatments is a plus.
• Skill Set: Previous massage and bodywork experience essential.
• Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management, and coworkers.
• Guest Rapport: Ability to build rapport and explain treatments confidently.
• Languages: Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Customer Service: Excellent service skills and work ethic.
• Organization: Efficient, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple duties.
• Attitude: Energetic, enthusiastic, motivational, and professional in manner and appearance.
• Team Player: Strong collaborative mindset.
