How You Can Make a Difference 🚦
As a trusted Driver, you will provide essential transportation support, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity. Your role is vital in facilitating UNICEF’s work and ensuring the safety and well-being of staff, officials, and visitors.
Your Responsibilities
Reliable and Safe Driving Services 🚗
- Transport UN staff, officials, visitors, and deliver/mail items safely.
- Assist with visa and customs formalities when needed.
Vehicle Maintenance and Documentation 🛠️
- Maintain assigned vehicle in excellent condition by performing minor repairs, oil changes, tire checks, etc.
- Ensure availability of all vehicle documents, including insurance, registration, and logs.
- Track maintenance schedules and manage necessary paperwork.
In Case of Incidents ⚠️
- Follow protocols for accidents and security incidents promptly and effectively.
Qualifications & Skills 🎓
- Secondary education required, with a valid driver’s license (C1 and D).
- At least two years of experience as a driver, preferably within an international or UN organization.
- Fluent in Arabic and English; knowledge of Hebrew is an asset.
- Knowledge of local roads and driving regulations.
- Skills in minor vehicle repairs, customer service, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
