Job Description

This position requires the ability to have compelling conversations and deliver high-quality customer service to donors on the NMDP registry who are being asked to save a patient’s life. The role involves leveraging investigative skills and utilizing information within NMDP systems to locate and contact donors.

Candidates must effectively engage donors—often addressing misconceptions about the donation process—and assess their health conditions. Responsibilities include updating donor demographics, managing records, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and current.

The following activities will also be performed as necessary:

• Scheduling laboratory testing 🧪
• Ordering and sending donor kits 📦
• Obtaining donor consent 📝
• Monitoring donor follow-through and engagement 🔍

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in human services, healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience. Additional education in public health, psychology, or health promotion is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three years in effective communication, behavioral coaching, customer relations, or direct patient interaction in clinical or healthcare settings.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic word processing and data entry required.
