Overview
Join our team as a Domestic Violence Advocate at Northwest Hospital’s DOVE Program, part of the Center for Hope. This vital role involves providing crisis intervention, advocacy, and follow-up case management services to victims, helping underserved populations stay safe and access resources in a trauma-informed manner. Collaborate with hospital staff, law enforcement, and community agencies to make a meaningful impact.
Job Summary
- Provide crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management services to victims of domestic violence.
- Work closely with hospital staff, police (LAP-Legality Assessment Program), community agencies, and individuals self-referring.
- Support victims and their children, ensuring their safety and connection to resources.
- Participate as part of a dedicated team including local law enforcement and community organizations.
- Implement trauma-informed approaches in all services provided.
Job Requirements
- Preferred: Associate's degree.
- Required: Prior domestic violence experience.
Position Details
This is a grant-funded role offering an hourly wage of $21 to $22/hour.
