🔍 About the Role

As a Translator at ITAMCAP, you will play a crucial role in translating official documents, ensuring accuracy, and assisting in case preparation. Your expertise will help clients navigate their citizenship journeys smoothly.

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Translate official documents (e.g., birth, marriage, and death certificates; court documents) from English to Italian and vice versa.
• Ensure translated documents maintain the format and layout of the originals, as required by Italian authorities.
• Review and verify the accuracy of translated materials.
• Prepare supporting forms and documentation for submission to Italian Consulates and Courts.
• Maintain clear and organized case files and translation records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all documents are complete and properly formatted.
• Communicate with clients and staff to gather missing information as needed.
• Contribute to general case preparation tasks, document review, and process improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in document translation, preferably in legal or governmental contexts.
• Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to match official document formatting standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with preparing documentation for consular and judicial submissions.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with tight deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in citizenship or immigration services is a plus.
