The Position

As a Document Translation and Cultural Language Analyst, you will be part of a collaborative team supporting government clients. Your responsibilities include:

• Translating a wide range of materials such as official documents, digital communications, media reports, and open-source information.
• Providing accurate translations from the foreign language into English.
• Adding relevant cultural context to support research and project management activities.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency: High school level or above in reading, writing, and comprehension of English and one of the target languages.
• Certification: Valid certification from an independent, state, or federal organization as a language translation authority.
• ILR Proficiency: At least level 3 in Reading, Speaking, Listening, and Writing (Interagency Language Roundtable).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in any discipline is required.
