Job Summary
As the Distributor Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting authorized distributors across Italy. Your role is to maximize revenue, enhance partner engagement, and ensure customer satisfaction by representing Fluke effectively to resellers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- 🎯 Achieve annual sales targets and objectives.
- 📊 Prepare regular reports (weekly/monthly) on progress against set goals for the Sales Manager Italy and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- 🔮 Accurately forecast revenue and utilize distributor monitoring dashboards for oversight.
- 🤝 Collaborate in teams, handling sales, service, and administrative tasks with self-direction.
- 🌐 Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Fluke’s product range; attend trade shows and key market events.
- 🛠️ Work closely with Italian representative agencies, providing technical and commercial support, training, and management to meet area targets.
- 👥 Offer technical and commercial assistance to Italian distributors, including in-store promotions, training sessions, and customer demonstrations.
- 🆕 Support the introduction of new products to distributors.
- 💡 Provide feedback on application data, competitive products, and sales tools to inform strategy.
- 🎯 Define distribution account targets and co-ordinate action plans to promote revenue growth.
- 📝 Develop and monitor action plans for assigned distributor accounts.
- 🎯 Oversee the implementation of cooperative marketing activities with distributors.
- 📦 Monitor distributor stock levels to ensure superior customer service.
- 🤝 Support distributor sales teams on relevant projects and initiatives.
Your Team
The Italian team is integrated within the EMEA Channel Sales division, comprising diverse talent from across the region. The current team includes 1 Channel Sales Manager and 3 Field Sales professionals (Key Account/Technical Sales) spread throughout Italy. We uphold values of high performance, integrity, knowledge sharing, and mutual support to achieve our regional goals.
Qualifications
- 🛠️ 3+ years experience in technical product sales.
- 📈 Experience in distribution management within technical sales.
- 🎓 Bachelor's degree in electrical or electrotechnical engineering, or equivalent.
- 💼 Proven ability to sell solutions and standard products effectively.
- 🔧 Hands-on experience with Test & Measurement or related products.
- 🗣️ Fluent in Italian and English.
- 💻 Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working with technical product software.
