Become a key player in driving sales and fostering strong relationships with authorized Distributors for Fluke in Italy, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Job Summary

As the Distributor Account Manager, you will manage, support, and energize authorized Distributors to promote and sell our premium products and services across Italy. Representing Fluke, your goal is to maximize revenue, engage partners effectively, and ensure end-customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales objectives to meet and surpass company goals.
  • Reporting & forecasting: Regularly provide accurate reports (weekly/monthly) to the Sales Manager Italy and other stakeholders, and use dashboards for revenue predictions.
  • Proactive teamwork: Collaborate with sales, service, and administrative teams, performing tasks under self-direction.
  • Product knowledge: Maintain an extensive understanding of our entire product line and participate in trade shows and market events.
  • Partner support: Work closely with Italian representative agencies, providing technical and commercial support, training, and management to achieve targets.
  • Customer engagement: Assist Distributors with product demonstrations, in-store promotions, training, and introducing new products.
  • Market feedback: Share insights on application data, competitors, and sales tools to inform strategies.
  • Strategic planning: Define account targets, develop cooperative action plans for revenue growth, and monitor progress.
  • Marketing activities: Implement jointly agreed marketing initiatives with Distributors.
  • Stock & service levels: Monitor distributor stock levels to maintain optimal customer service.
  • Sales support: Follow up with distributor sales teams on key projects and initiatives.

Meet Your Team

The Italian team integrates into the broader EMEA Channel Sales division, consisting of diverse professionals across the region. Our current team includes:

  • 1 Channel Sales Manager
  • 3 Field Salespeople specializing in key account and technical sales, spread throughout Italy

We value high performance, strong work ethics, integrity, and knowledge sharing to achieve our goals together.

Qualifications

  • Over 3 years of experience in technical product sales
  • Proven experience in distribution management within technical sales
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong solution-selling capabilities and product knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with Test & Measurement or related products
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical product software

Job Conditions

  • Frequent travel across Italy
  • Residency preferably in Northern Italy
  • Work primarily from home office
  • Company car and IT equipment provided
