We're seeking a talented individual to lead the management and growth of authorized Distributors in Italy, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction with innovative test and measurement solutions.

Job Overview 🎯

As the Distributor Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and driving authorized Distributors to sell our products and services throughout Italy. You will serve as the primary representative of Fluke to these resellers, aiming to maximize revenue, foster partner engagement, and deliver exceptional end-customer satisfaction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities 📝

  • Achieve annual sales objectives 📈
  • Report regularly (weekly/monthly) against set objectives to the Sales Manager Italy or other stakeholders; ensure accurate and timely reporting 🕒
  • Accurately forecast revenue and utilize distributor dashboards for monitoring 🔍
  • Collaborate within teams to perform sales, service, and administration tasks autonomously 🤝
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of our product lines; attend trade shows and market events 🌐
  • Work closely with Italian representative agencies, providing technical and commercial support; train and manage them to meet targets 🎓
  • Offer technical and commercial assistance to Distributors (e.g., promotions, training, demonstrations) 🙌
  • Facilitate the introduction of new products to Distributors 🚀
  • Provide feedback on application data, competitors, and sales tools 💡
  • Define account targets and develop cooperative action plans for revenue growth 🎯
  • Monitor and implement action plans for assigned distributor accounts ✅
  • Plan and execute cooperative marketing activities with distributors 📣
  • Monitor distributor stock levels to ensure excellent customer service 📦
  • Follow up and support distributor sales teams on key projects 🤝

The Italian team is part of the larger EMEA Channel Sales group, comprising a diverse team across the EMEA region. The current Italian team includes:

  • 1 Channel Sales Manager
  • 3 Field Sales Representatives (Key Accounts/Technical Sales)

Qualifications & Skills 🎓

  • Over 3 years of experience in technical product sales 🔧
  • Experience in distribution management within technical sales 📊
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electrotechnical engineering or equivalent 📜
  • Strong commercial skills in solution and product sales 💼
  • Practical experience with Test & Measurement or related products 🔍
  • Fluent in Italian and English 🗣️
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical software tools 💻
