Position Overview
Are you a results-driven leader eager to foster significant growth within Mondelēz International's Americas Export Business? As the Director of Sales - Americas Export, you will develop and execute strategies to boost revenue, volume, and market share across core and local categories. You will lead a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives, ensuring strategic alignment and capability building within the sales organization.
What You Will Contribute
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Point-of-Sales Execution: Develop innovative strategies to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Champion In-Store Excellence: Oversee in-store activities such as distribution, promotions, and shelving to surpass performance metrics.
- Lead Trade Optimization: Manage trade negotiations and strategize trade spending for maximum ROI and competitive edge.
- Cultivate Key Account Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key clients for mutual growth.
- Establish a Culture of Best Practices: Promote collaboration by sharing best practices across the sales region.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Formulate business strategies to drive export growth in Latin and North America; prepare budgets and present to senior leadership.
- Performance Management & Communication: Track sales performance and ensure transparency and accountability.
- Marketing Investment Optimization: Allocate and analyze marketing budgets to maximize returns.
- Channel Development & Expansion: Develop strategies to increase geographical and product coverage.
- Portfolio Management & Collaboration: Align portfolio strategies with leadership and support distributor development.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing export business team fostering innovation and excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Bring your passion and experience to this impactful role. We are looking for:
- 15+ years of leadership in FMCG/CPG industries, including sales, key account, brand management, or field sales.
- Deep knowledge of the trade environment across multiple markets.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Travel Requirements: 40-50% international travel expected.
Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary ranges from $141,000 to $232,650, depending on experience, skills, and location. Additional benefits include:
