About the Role 🌟
The Director of HR Operations Integration leads multi-company post-acquisition activities, ensuring seamless employee transitions, policy alignment, and compliance, while driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional value to the organization and its employees.
Your Key Responsibilities 📝
- Manage all HR-related tasks during the integration of new employees acquired through mergers.
- Oversee strategic HR initiatives, guiding leadership and employees through transition phases and their first 1-2 years with the company.
- Develop and implement HR plans supporting recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, performance monitoring, and staff evaluations.
- Define HR responsibilities, set performance goals, and manage talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, benefits, records management, safety, succession planning, employee relations, retention, and compliance with AA/EEO, labor laws, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the VP of HR and HRIS teams to align employees with appropriate roles, compensation, and career pathways.
- Support new employees with onboarding about company values, leadership principles, benefits, and offerings.
- Handle complex transition issues with empathy, providing solutions for unique employee situations.
- Manage employee assimilation processes, ensuring integration with payroll, timekeeping, and relevant policies.
- Coordinate with site HR teams to complete onboarding tasks including I-9 verification, background checks, and drug testing.
- Maintain consistent implementation of performance management, talent assessments, succession planning, and recognition programs.
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, and processes effectively to all employees.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, compliance, safety, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and workers' compensation in line with company policies.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local legislation, ensuring full legal compliance and advising management accordingly.
- Support a safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment through any additional assigned tasks.

Your Ideal Profile 🎯
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of total business experience, with at least 7 years in HR business partnership or management roles.
- Fluent in Spanish, with professional communication skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, including relationship building, team leadership, and conflict resolution.
- Proven experience managing HR teams and executing talent acquisition and HR strategies.
- Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio, with excellent presentation and written skills.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices to drive organizational success.
- Ability to coach and empower employees effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of HR compliance, applicable laws, and risk management.
- Experience working across multiple organizations and stakeholders, including HR, Legal, and senior leadership.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and attention to detail skills.
- Preferred experience with post-acquisition integration, multi-site operations in supply chain or retail industries.
- Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus.
