About This Role
The Director of Business Development based in our Puerto Rico office will be instrumental in driving client acquisition, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. This role involves building and managing relationships with potential partners, negotiating agreements, and executing initiatives to generate mutual growth and success.
Main Responsibilities 🌟
- Identify and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities
- Develop and implement business development plans
- Build relationships with potential partner organizations
- Manage One Park's referral program as a subchannel within Business Development
- Lead negotiations and formalize partnership agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner relationships
- Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities
- Track and report on partnership initiatives
- Represent the company at industry events
Requirements ✅
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel extensively to target markets for relationship-building
- Proven experience in business development or partnership roles within fintech or financial services
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset and initiative
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Knowledge of small business financing is a plus
