Join Our Team as Director of Medical Education (DME) 🩺

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to oversee and develop our graduate medical residency programs, continuing medical education, medical library, and short-term clinical training initiatives, fostering excellence, innovation, and compliance within our institution.

Core Responsibilities

🎓 Educational Leadership

• Provide strategic direction and support to the DIO, GME Committee, program directors, program administrators, and hospital leadership.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards across all programs and initiatives.
• Plan and manage institutional graduate medical education initiatives and events that promote resident and faculty development.

🔍 Accreditation & Compliance

• Maintain accreditation standards such as ACGME and ACCME, preparing for site visits and audits.
• Serve as a liaison between our institution, DIO, GME Committee, residency programs, and accrediting bodies.
• Develop policies and documentation necessary for educational regulatory compliance.

👩‍🏫 Faculty & Learner Development

• Organize faculty development initiatives to improve teaching effectiveness.
• Expertly navigate policies related to institutional and GME regulations, addressing learner concerns, professionalism, and progression issues.

📊 Strategic Planning & Administration

• Manage educational budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Promote quality enhancement, scholarly activities, and research in medical education.

🤝 Collaboration & Communication

• Foster partnerships between hospital administration, medical schools, and accreditation agencies.
• Create collaborative environments among medical staff, residents, students, and academic affiliates.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree preferred
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
