We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and people-oriented professional to fill a full-time, field-based position supporting patients with cutting-edge medical devices for cancer treatment in Israel.

About the Role

The Device Support Specialist will become an integral part of a diverse team of technicians and support representatives from around the world. Your primary focus will be assisting both commercial and clinical trial patients utilizing our innovative Medical Devices to combat cancer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 🎯

• Patient and Caregiver Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions on the Optune Medical Device or the TTF100/200A.
• Ongoing Support: Reinforce and update patient training monthly as needed.
• Technical Support: Perform routine visits to assess device functionality, make adjustments, and replace components.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues following established procedures.
• Collaborative Work: Coordinate closely with the Israel Sales Team, European Clinical Team, Technical Support, Commercial Operations, and Global Operations Center.
• Team Engagement: Participate in regular meetings both in person and via Teams.
• Travel: Visit patients at their homes and healthcare facilities, with up to 60-70% travel required.
• Flexibility: Support remote areas across Israel and assist colleagues as needed.
• Training & Knowledge: Maintain a high level of expertise by adhering to SOPs and continuous learning.
• Expenses: All approved travel expenses will be reimbursed.
• Compliance & Availability: Ensure all activities comply with Novocure Quality System requirements and be available for after-hours patient support.
• Travel Location: Mainly around Jerusalem and northern Israel, depending on patient needs.

Qualifications & Knowledge 🔍

• Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: Patient care experience or home visit background (e.g., nurse, social worker, medical technician, etc.) preferred.
• Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 22 kg.
• Personality Traits: Positive, energetic, service-oriented, empathetic, and adaptable.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer operations, troubleshooting, and device management.
• Independence: Capable of solving problems and working autonomously.
• Languages: Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
