Upwork Is Hiring A Develop Self-Paced Modern Spoken Hebrew Workbooks For All Ages

Looking for an experienced Hebrew curriculum developer to create a modern spoken Israeli Hebrew program, building on our successful self-paced reading foundation.

About the Project

We operate a small Hebrew school with a highly effective self-paced reading program using adapted Aleph Champ workbooks. Students of all ages progress independently through engaging worksheets, testing when ready, and advancing through a motivating stripe/color system. Our goal now is to develop a comprehensive, leveled spoken Israeli Hebrew program that complements our existing curriculum and supports independent learning.

What We Need

• Program Outline: A complete outline for 6–8 levels, starting with a level comparable to “White Ultra” / Level 1 after our current Black/script level.
• Levels Structure: Each level includes 3 stripes with mastery tests—short conversations with fluent speakers (we have many Israelis) and writing activities.
• Worksheets: Printable and digital, focusing on vocabulary, simple dialogues, repetition, review of previous words, writing in script, matching, picture-based activities, and expanding picture-book style pages.
• Instructions: Clear English instructions suitable for learners of all ages—children through adults—to enable independent use.
• Audio Recordings: Basic recordings of key words, phrases, and short conversations—for home practice, accessible via YouTube links or files.
• Teacher/Parent Notes: Light guidance materials including answer keys, usage tips, mini lessons, and conversation starters.
• Optional In-Class Activities: Quick game ideas for limited classroom time.

Timeline

Complete the program outline and deliver the full Level 1 workbook by the end of July 2026 (preferred), with flexibility through early August for quality reasons. Additional levels will be developed as milestones are achieved.

Ideal Freelancer Qualifications

• Native Israeli Hebrew Speaker with mastery of modern spoken Hebrew.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Experience creating children’s or self-paced language workbooks/curriculum.
• Familiarity with leveled language learning programs is a big plus.

Budget & Proposal Details

Fixed-price milestones with an approximate budget of $5,000 for the entire project (including outline, 6–8 levels, audio, etc.). We are willing to pay more for outstanding quality and exceeding expectations—over $800 per level if deserved. Please specify your rate for:

• The outline + Level 1.
• Additional levels.
