Hourly Pay Range 💰

$19.89 - $28.84 – The hourly pay rate is determined based on the candidate’s expertise, years of experience, and other factors.

Position: Dental Assistant 🦷

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital – Arlington Heights
• Employment Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Days

Position Highlights ⭐

• Assist staff and volunteer dentists and hygienists during chairside procedures
• Perform clerical functions such as scheduling, patient registration, and supply ordering
• Ensure sterilization of dental instruments following OSHA guidelines
• Manage appointment schedules for multiple providers
• Contribute to the School Oral Health Program, assisting with student and school nurse coordination
• Train non-licensed volunteers including hygiene students and dental assistants
• Support patient sedation procedures post-education training
• Provide oral health education through demonstrations and printed materials
• Adhere to hospital standards, policies, and procedures

What You Will Need ✅

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Education: High school diploma
• Experience: At least 1 year of chairside dental assisting, familiarity with dental software, sterilization, and infection control
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with access to a vehicle for multiple locations
