We are looking for a friendly and professional bilingual (Spanish/English) Dental Assistant to become a vital part of our team. Our dental assistants are empowered to educate patients on treatments and procedures, with a focus on patient care and operational efficiency. We invest in your growth through cross-training in various dental specialties. Our core belief is that the most important function of any dental team member is care for the patient.

Responsibilities 🛠️

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatments
• Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare instruments and equipment for patient care
• Educate patients on oral health care as directed by the doctor
• Present treatment plans to patients based on doctor recommendations
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures efficiently and accurately
• Record patient charting and all doctor’s notes in the digital chart system
• Maintain inventory and supplies
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, Risas policies)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications 🎓

• Bilingual Spanish/English required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Coronal polish certification preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in the dental field preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology
• Ability to anticipate the needs of doctors and patients
• Warm, friendly, outgoing personality with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
