Job Summary

Lightcast specializes in labor market insights and is seeking a talented Data Analyst who is proficient in Thai language to assist in expanding our global product features. This role involves analyzing data quality, collaborating with linguistics and engineering teams, and translating diverse taxonomies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve data quality of multilingual text classifiers.
• Collaborate with linguistics and engineering teams to develop new parsers across different languages.
• Translate various taxonomies such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations.
• Demonstrate competency in reading and writing Hebrew.
• Understand syntax and structural analysis of languages.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data cleanup, VLOOKUPs, and functions.
• Apply knowledge of query languages such as SQL.
• Develop advanced rule writing capabilities using RegEx.
• Leverage expertise in text analysis or machine learning principles.
• Perform data analysis with tools such as Excel or Python.
• Maintain high tolerance for repetitive and monotonous tasks.
• Follow complex instructions, navigate ambiguity, and work independently.
• Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and excellent time management skills.
• Ensure reliable laptop and internet access to support remote work.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in analyzing and improving data quality of multilingual text classifiers.
• Proven ability to work with linguistics and engineering teams to develop parsers.
• Capability to translate taxonomies including Skills, Titles, and Occupations.
• Proficiency in reading and writing Hebrew.
• Understanding of language syntax and structural analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, data cleanup, functions).
• Knowledge of SQL query languages.
• Advanced rule writing skills using RegEx.
• Familiarity with text analysis or machine learning principles.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel or Python.
• High tolerance for repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and work independently.
• Exceptional time management and sense of urgency.
• Reliable laptop and internet connection.
• Fluency in both English and Thai (spoken and written).

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or related fields.
