Location: Jamaica, NY

Company/Industry: International Freight Forwarder

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st shift

Salary: $100,000 - $135,000/year, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop: Mentor and guide a high-performing Customs Brokerage team, providing daily operational support and coaching.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain full compliance with CBP and OGA regulations, including HTS classification, protest filings, and staying updated on regulatory changes.
• Training & Education: Conduct training sessions on new regulations, customs procedures, and brokerage systems such as CargoWise.
• Process Improvement: Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement enhancements to boost operational performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team on client visits and support strategic business initiatives.
• Issue Resolution: Identify service issues or workflow gaps and collaborate with leadership to resolve them promptly.
• Account Management: Manage VIP accounts and assist the team with customs clearance tasks as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or import/export operations preferred.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
• Academic coursework in International Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics is considered a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Active U.S. Customs Broker License required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000 based on skills and experience. All compensation details are flexible and negotiable for the right candidate.
