As a Customer Support Representative (Bilingual French), you will deliver exceptional service across multiple channels, helping Volvo Car owners and prospects with their inquiries and concerns. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for first-class service.
📝 Responsibilities
- Coordinate towing and roadside services for vehicle owners 🚗
- Provide top-tier customer support via voice calls, emails, chat, and SMS 📞✉️💬
- Answer questions regarding product purchase or familiarization for Volvo Car owners and prospects
- Handle customer contacts to facilitate issue resolution with authority and professionalism
- Strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every interaction 😊
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members for further assistance
- Accurately document and code interactions in Volvo proprietary software 🖥️
- Identify and report trends or concerns to the management team for action
- Complete additional tasks or projects as needed 📝
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus 🎓
- Fluent in English and Canadian French, with the ability to pass verbal and written assessments 🗣️✍️
- Roadside dispatching or emergency call response experience is preferred but not required 🚨
- Previous call center and work-from-home experience is advantageous 💻
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient with technology, systems, and software tools
- Ability to use a PC efficiently to communicate and manage tasks 💻
- People-oriented attitude with strong relationship-building skills 🤝
- Broad automotive industry knowledge is preferred 🚘
- Independent worker demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and respect
- Strong analytical skills: data analysis, trend tracking, and information retrieval
🕒 Work Environment & Compensation
- This is a 24/7/365 operation, requiring flexibility in scheduling
- Shift differential: earn an additional $1.00/hour for hours worked between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM ET 🌙
- Position includes paid training and ongoing product updates 🏆
- Training schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET, approximately 3 weeks — virtual training available
- Located in Mahwah, NJ 🏢
