Position: Customer Support Associate, Bilingual - Korean (Starlink) 🚀

Starlink, our innovative satellite constellation, aims to deliver low-latency broadband internet worldwide. As an early member of the Starlink Customer Support team, you will be the face of Starlink to our customers, ensuring they have an exceptional overall experience.

What You'll Do: Responsibilities

  • Triaging & Resolving Customer Issues: Handle customer inquiries across multiple channels (digital, voice, etc.) and advocate relentlessly for the customer.
  • Technical Support: Assist customers with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Gathering Insights: Analyze trends and identify gaps by combining quantitative and qualitative methods, acting as the voice of the customer.
  • Collaborative Improvement: Work with internal teams to refine troubleshooting workflows and resolve root causes.
  • Knowledge Base Management: Create and maintain internal documentation and help center resources.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a frontline customer support role
  • Fluent in English and Korean

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of simplifying complex topics
  • Empathy, active listening, and resilience to handle customer concerns positively
  • Attention to detail and effective time management
  • Flexibility to support weekend and night shifts as needed
  • Experience in training, analytics, service design, vendor management, or content management
  • Background in high-growth or fast-paced environments like startups or consulting
  • Technical aptitude in networking, hardware troubleshooting, or software development

Additional Requirements ⚠️

  • Availability for scheduled shifts, including holidays
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • This role requires relocation to Redmond, WA if not already local
  • Post-training, available to work 10-hour shifts on one of the following schedules:
    • Shift Alpha: Mon-Thurs 12:00 AM - 10:30 AM PST
    • Shift Bravo: Mon-Thurs 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM PST
    • Shift Charlie: Fri-Mon 12:00 AM - 10:30 AM PST
    • Shift Delta: Fri-Mon 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST
    • Shift Echo: Fri-Mon 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM PST
    • Shift Falcon: Tue-Fri 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST

Compensation & Benefits 💰

Pay range based on experience and skill level:

  • Level 1: $24.00/hour
  • Level 2: $26.50/hour
  • Level 3: $29.00/hour
